Paintings by Sandra Yorke

I am an artist living in La Center, Washington. I paint mainly with watercolors and acrylics and my style of painting is more impressionistic rather than realistic. I love to paint landscapes, flowers and animals and I am especially drawn to scenes where there is a strong pattern of shadows and light areas. I choose colors that help convey the mood of the scene and the feelings I want to portray for my subject. I hope viewers of my art will be inspired to enjoy the beauty around them as much as I do!
